How It All Started
Welcome to Horror Vibes Coffee, where high-quality brews meet a world of the strange, spooky, and macabre. Located in the heart of North Hollywood, we’re not just a coffee shop—we’re an experience. Whether you’re drawn to the eerie or just need a caffeine fix with a side of thrills, we’ve created a space where alternative souls, horror lovers, and coffee enthusiasts collide. With handcrafted drinks, killer vibes, and a community that embraces the dark and unusual, Horror Vibes Coffee is where the magic—and the mayhem—begins.
Horror Vibes Coffee has grown because of the many people who have poured their passion into it—from our dedicated baristas to the creatives who bring our vision to life. Every three months, we launch a new seasonal menu inspired by horror’s rich history, from Burtonesque to our latest Art House, ensuring there’s always something new for horror lovers to sink their teeth into.
Now, as we expand, including our new location in Las Vegas, we remain true to what built us—our community, our love for horror, and the belief that coffee should always come with a little darkness.

What started as Joe’s Coffee, a local favorite known for its iconic mural of hip-hop legends, has evolved into something truly wicked. When Omaira took over in January 2022, her passion for horror quickly seeped into every corner of the shop. Inspired by her mother, Sonia, and the films they watched together—like The Ring and Halloween 4—Omaira reimagined the space with the help of in-house artist Phill Bourque, who transformed the walls into a gallery of horror icons. As the décor grew darker, so did our vibe, and soon Horror Vibes Coffee was born.
By mid-2022, the shop had fully embraced its eerie identity, with black walls, haunting art, and an atmosphere where Halloween is celebrated year-round. What started as a simple vision quickly became a movement, fueled by the support of close friends, loyal customers, and the horror community. Soon, we found ourselves going viral—drawing in horror fans, artists, actors, and creators from all over. People came not just for our darkly delicious drinks but to be part of a culture that embraces the strange and unusual.
